i. Grounds for dismissal:

  1. Gross misconduct such as willful disobedience of lawful orders or gross negligence.
  2. Absenteeism without permission or leave, which constitutes abandonment of duties.

ii. Duties of an employee:

  1. Obey lawful orders within the contract of employment.
  2. Exercise skill and diligence in carrying out assigned tasks.
  3. Render personal service and not delegate duties without consent.
  4. Keep confidential information secret and not act against the employer’s interests.
