Classification of Gratification:

    Examples:

    • A public officer accepting a sum of money to award a government contract to a specific bidder.
    • A businessperson paying a bribe to expedite the processing of a government license.
  2. Non-Monetary Gratification: This includes any other form of benefit that is not directly monetary but still influences an official’s decisions.
    Examples:

    • Offering an expensive gift, such as a car or property, to a public officer to gain favor.
    • Promising future employment or business opportunities to a public officer in exchange for a favorable ruling or decision.
