The Companies and Allied Matters Act provides for freedom of association with business organisations.
Required:
i ) State THREE grounds upon which a member of a limited liability partnership may cease to become a member of the organisation. (6 Marks)

A person may cease to be a member of a limited liability partnership on the following grounds:
i. In accordance with their agreement with the other partners.
ii. In the absence of such an agreement, after the expiration of at least a thirty-day notice in writing.
iii. On the person’s death.
iv. On the dissolution of the partnership.
v. When declared to be of unsound mind by a court of competent jurisdiction.
vi. If, after applying to the court to be so adjudged, the person has been declared insolvent.
